Management arrangements
A written policy reviewed annually, signed at director level and issued to every operative at induction.
Task and site-specific risk assessments completed before mobilisation and reviewed when conditions change.
Full RAMS packs produced per contract or per site and submitted to clients before works begin.
Company-issued PPE for all operatives, with task-specific equipment for hot works, height and confined spaces.
Regular recorded toolbox talks covering seasonal risks, incidents and refresher topics.
All accidents recorded and investigated, with RIDDOR reporting where required.
A no-blame near miss process feeding directly into risk assessment reviews.
Access assessed for every task, with towers, MEWPs or scaffold used in preference to ladders.
Asbestos awareness trained operatives, register checks before intrusive works and a stop-work procedure on suspected ACMs.
COSHH assessments held for all substances used, with data sheets available on site.
Lone working procedure with check-in, escalation and abandonment triggers for hostile situations.
Manual handling training and mechanical aids for kitchen units, boilers, cylinders and doors.
Gas work carried out only by Gas Safe registered engineers, with ID and scope checked on renewal.
Electrical work to BS 7671, with certification issued and test equipment calibrated.
Waste transfer documentation, spill control, segregation on site and emissions reduction across the fleet.
